To celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child, CHELD anchored a session to equip young female undergraduates on carving out a niche in careers. It was an interactive session and participants learnt practical steps to network, volunteer, begin, improve and progress in careers as young people.
Participants were also taught how to choose, and manage their careers and the importance of mentorship at the early stages of careers.
The session lasted for 40 minutes and there was an estimated 20 participants in the session. At end of the session, the feedback from participants showed a better understanding of the necessary steps to build and develop a career.
