We are happy to report that more than 2000 internally displaced people have been enrolled as beneficiaries of the FHIS insurance program for the vulnerable citizens of the FCT, demonstrating the success of our relationship with the FCT Health Insurance Scheme. The Karamajiji IDP Camp, the Malaysian IDP Camp, the Waru IDP Camp, and the Tarkushara IDP Camp have all profited from this initiative.
As a group, we are ecstatic that these IDPs now have easier access to healthcare. Realizing one of CHELD’s hashtag#ProjectREACH for IDPs goals is satisfying, and we appreciate the FHIS, particularly its Director, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed-Danfulani, for his unwavering dedication to achieving universal coverage in the Federal Capital Territory.
