In continuation of CHELD’s training activities for organizations (state and non-state actors) providing services to Victims of Trafficking in the Northwest, with support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), we conducted a 4-day training in Kano State.
The aim of the training was to equip services with basic knowledge of service provision through a victim-centred and rights-based approach. Participants for the training were drawn from Jigawa, Kano and Katsina State. At the end of the training, participants had a full grasp of the subject matter and were encouraged to conduct step-down training in their various organizations.
